PROJECT MANAGEMENT

A detailed manufacturing and project resource schedule is presented to the client within the first two weeks of the start of the project. Every project team has a Project Manager and a director responsible for all correspondence between GPS and the client.

 

DESIGN

GPS employs a team of highly-skilled design staff with many years of practical experience. The GPS Project Designer will produce a wide range of electrical designs and drawings to meet your specification. GPS uses one the most up-to-date electrical design packages to produce the drawings, ensuring high quality products.

 

MANUFACTURE & FABRICATION

GPS uses only the latest CAD/CAM technology together with CNC machines, giving total control over delivery times, cost and quality. All our panels are de-greased, etch-primed and powder coated in our Powder Coating division to provide a tough, durable finish.

MOTOR CONTROL CENTRES

 

GPS was one of the earliest companies to introduce the Intelligent Motor Control Centre (IMCC) into the UK, and has worked with the IMCC for more than 7 years. The reputation we have for building control system solutions across many different sectors and applications, is enhanced by our in-depth knowledge of both conventional and intelligent motor centres.

 

IMCC vs CMCC

• The IMCC is smaller, smarter, and cheaper.
• Conventional relays, timers, thermistor units and door furniture are all integrated into the Simocode.
• The Simocode can transmit some 200 status signals to the PLC.
• The IMCC saves on space as it does away with thousands of cables.
• Devices are daisy-chained.
• The IMCC is 30% smaller than the CMCC because no physical I/O is necessary for the PLC.
